The CYBILS Awards have added an Audiobook category this year, and I will be a Round 1 Panelist.

The Good: The car is fixed, and it only cost me $40.

As stated above, the CYBILS Awards have added an Audiobook category (click here to see the other judges). For this first year, it will be limited to Middle Grade books; if it goes well, they may add YA next year. I confess that I am more than a bit intimidated by the prospect of all that listening. But I really want the Audiobook category to get off to a good start. It will be interesting, as I will probably be reading more non-SFF books than I have in quite awhile. Nominations for all categories open to the public on 10/1. Authors/Publishers can submit additional books after the nomination period ends.

The Bad: Once I got the notification that I had been selected as a judge, I began working on getting my ducks in a row. This cut into my blog time. / I didn't get the car fixed until Friday, so I had to deal with it most of the week. / It was Migraine week again (usually I enjoy being a woman, but sometimes I just want a break from hormones).
